MIRPUR KHAS (Kashmir English): The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpur Khas has announced the results of the annual examinations of the 12th-grade pre-engineering group.

According to the results, the overall passing ratio in the exams was 84.69 percent, while two students secured the first position jointly by securing the same marks.

According to Mirpur Khas Board Chairman Col (R) Dr Syed Muhammad Alamdar Raza, a total of 5,253 students participated in the annual examinations of the 12th grade pre-engineering group this year. After compiling the examination results, the board announced the names of successful candidates and students who secured prominent positions.

Names of position holders

According to the results, Saim, son of Karim Bakhsh, a student of Government Boys Degree College Sindhuri, and Tanzila Kumari, daughter of Kishan Kumar, a student of Sindh Public Higher Secondary School Umerkot, performed brilliantly and secured 957 and 957 marks, respectively, and jointly secured the first position.

The second position in the pre-engineering group results was secured by Vem Lalwani, son of Chandra Prakash. Vem Lalwani from Government Higher Secondary School Naukot secured a total of 956 marks.

Similarly, Ghanshyam Das, son of Ghanshyam, a student of Government Boys Degree College Sindhuri, secured the third position by securing 955 marks. The success of the students who secured prominent positions is being attributed to the hard work of their parents and teachers.

The results released by the Mirpurkhas Board also include details of the performance of the successful candidates in terms of grades. According to the data, 549 students secured A grade, while 1,757 candidates were declared successful in B grade.

Similarly, 1,545 students secured C grade, while 515 candidates secured D grade. According to the results, 34 students were able to secure E grade.

According to the board, 826 candidates also failed in the annual examinations. However, the overall success rate of the Pre-Engineering group can be considered satisfactory, as the overall success rate is 84.69%.

According to education experts, the Pre-Engineering group is an important educational stage for students at the intermediate level, as a large number of students then move on to higher education in engineering, computer science, technology, and other scientific fields. Therefore, the results of class 12th play an important role in the future educational choices of students.

The students who secured prominent positions in the Mirpurkhas Board results have earned honor not only for their educational institutions but also for their parents with their success. The outstanding performance of Saim and Tanzila Kumari, who jointly secured the first position, particularly attracted attention, as both candidates secured the same 957 marks.
