LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the results for the ninth class or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I annual examinations 2025.
The results were announced by Rizwan Nazir, Secretary, Lahore Board, and Tauseef-ur-Rehman, Controller of Examinations.
The total number of students appearing for the class 9 exams was 308,073, said the Lahore board. Out of them, 138,894 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 45.08.
In the Science Group, 235,247 candidates sat for the exams, of whom 111,681 cleared. This represents a pass percentage of 47.47%.
In the Arts Group, 72,826 candidates sat for the exams, of whom 27,213 were declared passed, giving a pass percentage of 37.37pc.
The overall pass percentage among girls was 53.83% and was considerably higher than boys, who passed at a percentage of 35.33%.
Authorities observed that girls still performed better, with a much greater pass rate. The Science Group continued to have a greater success rate than the Arts Group.

Additionally, the other Punjab boards are also set to announce results, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha, DG Khan, and Sahiwal, and are announcing the SSC (Class 9) results today.
