ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with political leaders from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), including Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, who have recently joined the party.
The meeting, held at Zardari House in Islamabad, was attended by senior party leaders, including PPP Parliamentarians Secretary General Nayyar Bukhari and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi. PPP AJK General Secretary Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Sardar Zia Qamar, and Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz were also present during the meeting.
As per details, the newly joined leaders, including former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, current PM AJK’s Advisor Sardar Sagheer, MLA Ali Shan Soni, and Chaudhry Rafique Nayyar, met the party chairman.
Moreover, AJK Minister for Transport Javed Butt, Kashmir Council Member Sardar Adnan Sayab, and Umar Tanveer Ilyas were also present during the meeting.
During the meeting, detailed consultations were held on the political situation, organizational structure, and upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed the newly joined leaders and indicated that they would be given important responsibilities in the party. The PPP Chairman expressed confidence that the party would once again become a strong political force in Azad Kashmir.
The newly joined leaders appreciated the party manifesto and the public welfare agenda.
