ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday refuted the reports of his alleged engagement and marriage to a former Austrian princess.
In a video statement shared on his X account, Bilawal said that if any such decision were made in his life, his family would officially announce it.
He captioned the video that social media has gotten my [baat pakki], engagement, and even wedding done.
“Let me clarify that nothing like this has happened, nor do I know any Princess Gloria. These spectacles on social media are meant to divert attention from real issues,” Bilawal wrote.
He added that, in reality, these discussions on social media were being hyped to divert public attention from more actual issues.

The former foreign minister further talked about the fire incident at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, that claimed the lives of 14 newborns last week.
“A minister, who wants to become Pakistan’s Gorbachev, wants to divide our country into thirty pieces. This minister cannot even manage a single hospital.”
He further criticised a minister from Lahore over remarks concerning the creation of new provinces, saying the matter should be discussed in the Sindh Assembly.
Earlier, news had emerged that Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari were in Vienna to hold talks with the Austrian family regarding Bilawal’s possible engagement.
It claimed that President Asif Ali Zardari had travelled to Liechtenstein to discuss and set a date for his son’s wedding.
The reports further alleged that Bilawal’s potential bride is from the former Austrian royal family ‘House of Habsburg-Lorraine,’ and in some reports, she was said to be from the family of the last Austrian emperor, Charles I.
