ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Authorities have rejected circulating claims by an account identifying itself as “Global Trends Magazine (GTM)” regarding an alleged “world-exclusive interview” with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, terming them false and misleading.

Officials clarified that no such GTM interview has been conducted, authorized, or scheduled with either of the state leaders.

A preliminary open-source intelligence (OSINT) assessment has raised serious concerns about the credibility of the account, citing its limited digital footprint, lack of transparency, and absence of verifiable credentials typically associated with established international publications.

Authorities believe the claims may be part of a deceptive attempt to misuse the names of senior leadership for attention, online traction, or potential fraudulent purposes.

The public has been advised to avoid engaging with or amplifying such misleading content. Officials also noted that the platform should be treated as unreliable and flagged for spreading unverified information
