PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): The Director General (DG) of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that terrorists were given shelter a few years ago and an attempt was made to create misleading narratives.

While holding a press conference in Peshawar, DG ISPR said that the main reason for terrorism is the incomplete implementation of the National Action Plan.

The Pakistani armed forces are determined to completely eradicate terrorism. We salute those who were martyred in KPK.

We have to uproot terrorism with the help of the people. The brave sons of our land have written history with their blood. We all have to uproot the scourge of terrorism together, DG ISPR added.

Pakistan Army Spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry further stated that the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are steadfast against terrorism, and Insha Allah, this scourge will be eradicated forever.

The DG ISPR said that the purpose of this meeting is to review the current security situation in the province and reiterate the resolve of the Pakistan Army once again.
