CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): Apple has officially announced the date of its highly anticipated new product launch event, with the company expected to unveil its latest iPhone models, new Apple Watch devices, and major developments in artificial intelligence.
Apple’s media invitations carry the phrase “Surprise and Shine”, along with an illuminated Apple logo, signaling a major product announcement.
According to the company, the special event will take place on September 9 at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California. The event is expected to begin at around 10 pm Pakistan Standard Time.
Analysts expect the new iPhone lineup to remain the main focus of the event, while new Apple Watch models are also likely to be introduced.
There is also growing speculation that Apple could unveil its first foldable iPhone, a product that technology enthusiasts have reportedly been anticipating for years.
However, Apple has not officially confirmed the launch of a foldable iPhone. Artificial intelligence is also expected to be a major theme at the event. Reports suggest Apple could introduce a new AI-powered version of Siri, based on Large Language Model technology.
The upgraded assistant is expected to work more effectively with messaging, calendar and other applications.
The event will mark one of Apple’s major product launches under its new leadership, with John Turnbull expected to lead the company as CEO.
Apple had also announced new Mac mini and Mac Studio models earlier this week, with the devices expected to begin shipping from September 22.
