MULTAN (Kashmir English): Renowned religious scholar Allama Nasir Madni suffered a heart attack while delivering a sermon during Friday prayers in Jahanian, Khanewal District, Punjab.
As per the details, Madni was rushed to a hospital in Multan in critical condition. He was reciting the Kalima when his health deteriorated.
Witnesses said he collapsed on the pulpit during the sermon after suffering a cardiac episode. He was immediately provided with first aid before being shifted to Multan for further treatment.
DSP Jahanian Malik Abdul Majeed was also present at the mosque on this occasion.
