AJK Small Industries Minister reviews 2025-26 budget, employee issues discussed

MUZAFFARABAD (KASHMIR ENGLISH): A meeting chaired by Minister for Small Industries Corporation Prof. Taqdees Gilani reviewed the proposed budget for the financial year 2025–26 and discussed measures to address the issues faced by departmental employees.

Secretary Small Industries Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, Special Secretary Mohsin Gilani, MD Small Industries Zeeshan Arif, Chief Planning Chaudhry Yasir Bashir, Director Waheed Mughal, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.

The budget plans for the next financial year were reviewed in the meeting, and the procedure for implementing new projects was discussed.

The participants expressed their views on the salaries, pensions, and other benefits of departmental employees and agreed to take steps to resolve their problems.

It was also decided that honorary coordinators will be appointed to promote small industries, who will help in activating the industry in various sectors.

Addressing the meeting, AJK Small Industries Minister Taqdees Gilani said that the government is going to start offering interest-free loans for small industries soon so that the domestic industry can be made more active and stable.

She said that the government’s priority is to promote small and medium enterprises, so that local industrialization and employment opportunities increase.

At the end of the meeting, all the participants expressed their determination to implement government projects for solving the problems of employees and developing small industries.
