AJK PM visits front lines in Barnala sector, pays tribute to Pakistan Army

BHIMBER (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq visited the front lines in the Barnala sector in Bhimber district, expressing solidarity with the Pakistan Army and praising their response to Indian aggression.

The Prime Minister’s visit aimed to boost the morale of soldiers and acknowledge their efforts in defending the country’s borders, the statement from the AJK government’s PID department said.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the officers and men of the Pakistan Army for their bravery and high morale in responding to Indian aggression. He appreciated the enthusiasm and zeal of the soldiers, acknowledging their crucial role in defending the country’s borders.

On this occasion, a large number of people raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Army, Zindabad, and Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Zindabad.

Addressing the officers and troops, the PM Haq acknowledged Pakistan Army’s response to Indian aggression, adding that Operation “Banyan Marsus” forced India to kneel. He highlighted the international recognition of Pakistan’s Air Force capabilities.

The premier also visited the homes of martyrs Junaid Iqbal and his mother Shamim Bibi, who were martyred in Indian firing, offering condolences and prayers for the families.

The Prime Minister also visited the residence of Syed Haroon and Syed Irtaza, who were martyred in Indian firing in Barnala, and expressed his condolences and offered Fateha. On this occasion, he also gave a relief check to the families.

He said that the payment of relief funds to the families of the martyrs and the injured was ensured within 24 hours, while during this time, the institutions remained fully alert and worked around the clock.

The Prime Minister also announced his plans to visit the entire Line of Control (LoC) areas in Azad Kashmir to assess losses and take necessary measures.

On this occasion, Brigadier Omar, Most Senior Minister Waqar Ahmed Noor, government ministers Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, Nisar Ansar Abdali, were also accompanying the Prime Minister.
