MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has congratulated Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir on his promotion to the rank of Field Marshal.
In his congratulatory message, the Prime Minister praised Field Marshal Munir’s leadership and strategic brilliance.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the AJK premier paid tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir, saying that his promotion is a wise decision. He praised Army Chief’s courageous and selfless leadership, which led to the defeat of India in the battle of Haq.
The Prime Minister highlighted Field Marshal Asim Munir’s commitment to the Kashmir issue, saying that he truly deserves this promotion.
“Under his leadership, the Pakistan Army achieved unprecedented success in Marak-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanun Marsoos,” the prime minister stated.
Information Minister of the AJK government, Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, also congratulated Field Marshal Asim Munir, saying that he is the pride of the entire nation.
The Minister praised Munir’s brilliant military leadership, courage, and bravery, which made Pakistan proud. The Kashmiri nation is happy with COAS’s promotion, and the Prime Minister congratulated him on behalf of the entire Kashmiri nation.
The Minister noted that the posters of Field Marshal Asim Munir’s pictures in occupied Kashmir are proof of the love and admiration of the Kashmiri people for him.
