MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Terming it in the interest of Azad Kashmir’s administration, AJK President Barrister Sultan Mehmood approved the major reshuffles in the Azad Kashmir police department.
The notification has been issued by the Service and General Administration Department in this regard.
As per the notification, Zaheer Ahmed, who was posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police Reserves.
Jameel Ahmed Jameel (BS-19) has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic/Telecommunication on an immediate basis. He was serving as SSP Services and General Administration Department.
Furthermore, Riaz Haider Bukhari (BS-19), currently serving as SSP Crime Branch, has been posted against the vacant post of Senior Superintendent of Police Muzaffarabad.
Superintendent Police (SP) Haveli Khawaja Amiruddin, acting BS-18 officer, has been transferred and posted to the SP Special Branch.
Acting BS-18 officer Atta-ur-Rehman, currently serving as Additional SP District Muzaffarabad, has been posted on the vacant SP District Haveli.
Syed Raza-ul-Hassan Gilani, DSP/SDPO Patikka (Naseerabad), has been transferred and posted against the vacant post of Additional Superintendent of Police, District Muzaffarabad.
Furthermore, the government has posted Nadeem Arif has posted as Superintendent of Police (SP) District Sudhanoti on the basis of seniority. He was serving as DSP Saddar Sudhanoti.
