AJK IT Board launches system for issuing ‘state subject’ and ‘domicile certificates’

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Information Technology Board has developed an application and system for issuing State Subject and Domicile Certificates as part of the government’s e-Governance vision.

According to the government statement, the IT Board has developed a system to streamline the issuance of State Subject and Domicile Certificates.

The equipment has been provided to all sub-divisions in Azad Kashmir to facilitate the implementation of the system, the statement read.

Moreover, a two-day training was also organized by the IT Board for the employees of the Board of Revenue Department for the use of the system.

During the training sessions, the representatives were provided with awareness about the system and all the training regarding its use. After this, this facility will soon be available to the public at the tehsil level with the cooperation of the IT Board.

The initiative aims to enhance efficiency and transparency in the issuance of important documents.
