SUDHANOTI (Kashmir English): Chief Justice of the High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Justice Sadaqat Hussain Raja formally inaugurated the “Case Flow Management System” and “Registration of Deeds” system in the Sudhanoti district.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the Judicial Complex Pallandri, on Wednesday.
On this occasion, Additional Registrar of the High Court Raja Muhammad Riaz Shafi and Deputy Director of Information Technology Board Nadeem Ahmed Taj gave a briefing to CJ AJK High Court about the project.
Chief Justice inaugurated the “Extension for Lower Judiciary Automation System in AJK” by pressing the button.
Addressing the ceremony, Justice Sadaqat Hussain Raja said that the lower judiciary of Azad Kashmir has been connected to Information Technology.
As per details, the Case Flow Management System at the district level has started working online, while under this project, the entire judicial system of Azad Kashmir has been connected to it.
“The Registration of Deeds system has also become functional in the districts of Kotli and Sudhanoti after the divisions,” the statement said.
“With the introduction of the e-courts system, all information about cases, including filing cases, its decisions, and other court information, is available at one click,” the CJ High Court added.
In addition to that, Justice Sadaqat paid tribute to the officers of the AJK Information Technology Board for the completion of this state-of-the-art project.
This project will bring transparency to the registration process of the cases and eliminate the possibility of errors. “Similarly, pending cases will also be settled promptly.”
Furthermore, the chief justice asked the lawyers to register their digital diaries in the courts so that they can get all the details of their cases including the dates of cases.
Retired Judge Justice Sardar Abdul Hameed Khan, District and Sessions Judge Sardar Arbab Azam, Deputy Commissioner Syed Mumtaz Hussain Kazmi, SP Raja Nadeem Arif, President District Bar Sardar Zarif Aslam Advocate, Arsalan Zia Focal Person of the High Court, judges and judges of the subordinate judiciary and senior lawyers were also present at the ceremony.
