HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Two separate FIRs have been registered at Chinari Police Station against the leaders of the Joint Awami Action Committee, which was declared illegal by the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The registered cases name Raja Nisar Gul, Aftab Gul, Waqar Anjum, Waheed Kayani, Khawaja Ahmed Mukhtar, Mahmood Shah, Raja Abdul Qadeer, Ghulam Ali, and Faisal Bashir, among other leaders.
According to police sources, Khawaja Ahmed Mukhtar, a leader named in the registered FIRs, has been arrested by Chinari Police Station.
Sources said that the arrest was made based on his nomination in the cases, and further legal proceedings are underway.
On the other hand, the police raided Garthama and arrested Hamza Kayani, Hammad Kayani, Ehtisham Kayani, and Farhan Kayani.

According to sources, the arrested individuals have been transferred in police custody for further investigation.
Police officials stated that action will continue according to the law, and efforts have been intensified to arrest other individuals named in the cases.
However, no further information as the full details of the cases and allegations has been released at the official level.
