CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): Google has rolled out a new premium subscription service, Google AI Ultra, especially for professionals, developers and creatives who require cutting-edge technology for research, content creation and high-performance computing.
The Google subscription will offer users exclusive access to its most advanced artificial intelligence tools and capabilities for research and content creation.
Priced at $249.99 per month, the launch targets professionals, developers, and creatives.
The service was unveiled during the Google’s annual developer conference, Google IO, and is available starting this week in the United States.
The company is likely to extend the service to international users in the coming months.

The Google feature includes the company’s most capable AI models, including access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro “DeepThink” mode designed for advanced reasoning and deep research applications.
The company is upgrading AI subscription plans to Google Al Pro and Google Al Ultra.
Google AI Ultra is perfect for Gemini app power users, the trailblazers who want the highest rate limits and early access to the company’s most capable models and features, including Veo 3.
Subscribers of the VIP service will also be able to use Google’s AI-powered filmmaking tool, Flow, which enables the creation of cinematic video content using intuitive prompts.
Flow comes with features like 1080p video generation, advanced camera controls and early access to the newly announced Veo 3 video generation model.
Another key feature included in the AI Ultra plan is NotebookLM, a tool that converts notes into podcasts and helps users organise information.
The Google plan also gives access to Project Mariner, an experimental agentic research prototype capable of managing up to 10 tasks at once, from online research to booking and purchasing.
Integration with everyday Google services is also enhanced in this plan.
Subscribers can use Gemini AI directly in Gmail, Docs, Vids and Chrome, with Chrome gaining early access capabilities starting this week.
Additionally, AI Ultra users receive a personal YouTube Premium membership and a substantial 30 terabytes of storage across Google Drive, Gmail and Photos.
According to the company, this plan is meant for users seeking maximum performance and early access to new experimental features.
The VIP subscribers will receive 50% off the first three months.
The introduction of AI Ultra comes at a time when tech companies are increasingly looking to monetise AI technology.
