ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Almirsad, a media outlet linked to the intelligence apparatus of the Afghan Taliban, has been blocked in Pakistan for spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda.
As per details, access to the WhatsApp channel of Almirsad Urdu has been taken down in the country.
Almirsad is considered to be an online media propaganda platform operating from Afghanistan, which used to publish content in Urdu, Pashto, Dari, Arabic, English, and Bengali languages.
According to reports, Almirsad is said to be linked to the Afghan Taliban’s media network.
A CSSPR report also described this platform as part of the Afghan Taliban’s propaganda network, which has been active in promoting anti-Pakistan narratives.
Almirsad’s Urdu channel had been publishing content related to Pakistan, TTP, Afghan Taliban, and the security situation in the region.
According to sources, the closure of this website in Pakistan is being described as part of efforts to stop anti-Pakistan propaganda on social media and online platforms.
