RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): In a strong show of unity and national resolve, a press conference held at Ghazi-e-Millat Press Club Rawalakot saw political voices, civil society members, and the local community firmly reject India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan following a recent incident in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Speaking at the gathering, speakers condemned India’s repeated attempts to blame Pakistan for unrest in the region without offering any credible evidence. The statements came in response to Indian media and government claims accusing Pakistan or groups operating from its soil of being behind the latest tragic event in Kashmir.

“This is yet another attempt by India to deflect from its failures in maintaining peace in the occupied region,” said one of the speakers. “We reject India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan in the strongest terms. These tactics will not succeed in misleading the world.”

Speakers at Ghazi-e-Millat Press Club Rawalakot highlighted India’s growing pattern of hostility, which includes scrapping long-standing international agreements like the Indus Waters Treaty, increasing diplomatic pressure, and ordering Pakistani nationals to leave India. They said these aggressive moves reflect India’s war-driven mindset, all while hiding behind India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan.

Participants reaffirmed Pakistan’s position as a responsible nuclear state committed to peace, stability, and regional cooperation. “Our land is not a base for terrorism, and we neither support nor tolerate such actions,” one speaker added. “We call for transparent and independent investigations into any incident instead of propaganda-based blame games.”

A clear message was sent from the heart of Azad Kashmir: if India takes any misadventure using these allegations as a pretext, Pakistan’s armed forces and the people of  Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK)  will respond with full force. “We are with our army like a wall of steel, ready for any sacrifice,” they said.
