MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A mysterious explosion took place in a house at the Old Secretariat area of Muzaffarabad on Wednesday evening, shattering windows and doors of the house.
According to the police, no one was present in the house, used by a GPO employee, at the time of the explosion.
As soon as it was reported, the police reached the spot and also called the bomb disposal squad to assess the nature of the blast.
The police said that an investigation is being conducted to find out the reasons for the explosion.
The GPO Chief Postmaster resides in the house, and police said that a cylinder in the house is in good condition.
