MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A devastating incident occurred in the Tatrinote Madarpur sector of the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Kashmir when an old explosive device exploded.
The incident resulted in the causality of one Pakistan Army soldier and the injury of two others.
The soldiers were on a routine patrol near the LoC when the old shell suddenly detonated, resulting in the martyrdom of one soldier and injuries to two personnel.
The injured soldiers were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where their condition is reported to be stable.
It is pertinent to mention that similar incidents were reported earlier as well as where old ammunition exploded in arms depots.
