HAVELI (Kashmir English): The District Elementary Education Board Haveli Kahuta has released the results of the annual examination 2024-25.
Maqsood Ahmed Khan, Controller of Examinations, issued a press release and announced the results of the annual examinations of classes VIII and V.
According to the press release, a total of 1820 candidates appeared in class VIII, out of which 1664 candidates passed, thus resulting in a 91.4% passing rate.
Additionally, in class V, 2556 candidates appeared, out of which 2472 candidates passed, thus the result was 97%.
In Class VIII, Aiza Batool of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Palangi earned the first place with 696 marks, Kakhashina Talib of New Poonch Model School Kahuta and Mehak Jamil of Government Girls High School Gagdar took second place with 691 marks, and Syed Muhammad Ehsan Fatemi of New Poonch Model School Kahuta was third with 687 marks.
In Class V, Areesha Ishaq of Al-Rahman Public Model School Ji Syedan earned first place with 513 marks, Fahad Kar Umat of Shining Pearl Community Pool School Barangban was second with 506 marks, and Kanwal Shahzadi of Rehman Public School Syedan was third with 503 marks.
Khan explained that the fifth-grade results were given in a term-wise system, with 25% of marks based on Term 1, 25% of marks based on Term 2, and 50% of marks based on Term 3.
He thanked the district administration, principals, head teachers, teachers and staff for all their hard work to implement the examinations, and also congratulated the top students and their teachers.
