NEELUM (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Member and Information Minister Maulana Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah Thursday visited the traders of the fire-hit Dawarian Bazaar.
The Minister inspected the bazaar that was ravaged by a massive fire some weeks back. He also assessed the damages.
Shah inspected the market affected by the fire and also assessed the damage as he promised to provide maximum compensation and reconstruct the market on the pattern of Sharda Bazaar.
“The fire victims will not be left alone in any case, and we will provide assistance at the government level. In this hour of difficulty, we share the grief of the victims of the fire equally. I will fight on the assembly floor for the rehabilitation of fire victims.”
Information Minister to Food Authority
Furthermore, the Information Minister directed the Food Authority to protect citizens from contaminated water and unhealthy food by identifying hygiene items.
While expressing sympathy with the victims of the fire in the market, he assured them of the early provision of compensation and said that the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir should ensure that the victims of the Dawarian Bazaar are provided with relief during his visit to Neelum after Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Minister was accompanied by staff officers Sardar Naushad, Mufti Obaid-ur-Rehman, Raja Waqas and other members of the team.
Later, the information minister termed the launch of the Food Testing Laboratory as a welcome step at the government level and said that this would provide the public with quality food items in accordance with the principles of hygiene.
The minister said that the government would take more effective steps to provide healthy food so that the public has access to safe and quality food.
