JEDDAH (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over death of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F)’s leader, and senior politician Hafiz Hussain Ahmed.
The prime minister, in a condolence message prayed for elevation of ranks of the departed soul in Jannah and grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with patience.
“Ahmed was a wise politician”
“The entire nation stands in solidarity with the family members of late Hafiz Hussain Ahmed in this moment of grief,” the prime minister said in the condolence message. He pointed out that Hafiz Hussain Ahmed was a wise politician.
Hafiz Hussain Ahmed passed away on Wednesday after a protracted illness. According to his son Munir Ahmed, the politician had been suffering from kidney disease for a long time.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also expressed grief over the death of the senior politician and cleric. “A chapter of beautiful memories has ended with the death of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed,” Fazl said.
