ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s Lahore will host the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025, starting on April 9 and continuing until April 19.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the tournament and all the matches will be held at two Lahore stadiums.

Six teams will compete for the final two spots in the upcoming Women’s World Cup scheduled to start on April 9 and continuing until April 19.

Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host all 15 matches in the round-robin tournament.

The two teams finishing top will reserve their berths in the upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in India, set to be played in October and November this year.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ireland, and West Indies are the four full members set to play the qualifier.

They will have to play the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025 after they failed to secure a direct place for the World Cup through the ICC Women’s Championship.

Thailand and Scotland will be the other two teams featuring in the qualifying matches.

South Africa, England, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and hosts India have already made it to the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 qualifying nations by finishing in the top six of the 10-team ICC Women’s Championship (2023-25).
