MUZAFFARABADm(Kashmir English): Under the patronage of Chief Justice (R) Syed Manzoor Hussain Gilani, a ceremony was held at the Gilani Law Chamber to distribute certificates among the trained lawyers at the closing ceremony of the three-month legal training course for young lawyers.
Former Chief Justice of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Muhammad Ibrahim Zia, former Speaker of the Assembly and Minister of Law Abdul Rashid Abbasi, former Justice of the Supreme Court Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, Advocate General Azad Kashmir Sheikh Masood Iqbal, Barrister Humayun Nawaz Khan participated and distributed certificates.
The distinguished guests paid tribute to the efforts of the Gilani Law Chamber that they realized this important need, fulfilled the urgent need, and took care of the training of the youth.
They also paid tribute to Justice R. Manzoor Gilani for receiving the cooperation of lawyers and judges to begin the training course.
This course is indeed in continuation of training efforts for young lawyers for providing them with requisite skills and knowledge.
The next course is intended to start in the second week of January and will deal with the current laws and constitutional set-up in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
