ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A significant change in the weather conditions is being seen in various districts of the country, including Kashmir, according to the Meteorological Department.

The Met Dept has predicted rain with thundershowers in Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this afternoon.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to be partly cloudy, and strong winds are likely in other parts of the country, including Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Due to this recent change in the weather, where clouds are expected in the upper areas, the intensity of heat and wind speed will continue to fluctuate during the day in big cities like Karachi and Islamabad.

In addition, the weather in Gilgit-Baltistan has also been predicted to be partly cloudy, along with light and heavy rain in some places, which is expected to bring a pleasant change in the weather there.

On the other hand, the weather in the federal capital, Islamabad, is likely to remain hot and partly cloudy today, with a higher-than-normal temperature of 26 degrees Celsius recorded in the morning.

The temperature in Islamabad is expected to rise to 34 degrees Celsius during the day, while the wind speed in the city will remain higher than normal, reaching about 11 kilometers per hour throughout the day.

The weather in the provincial capital Karachi is currently partly cloudy and very humid. The temperature in the city of Quaid-e-Azam was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius in the morning.

However, the actual intensity of the heat is being felt up to 33 degrees Celsius due to the humidity ratio reaching 65 percent.

Intermittent strong winds are expected in the city during the day, while the maximum temperature in Karachi on Sunday is expected to be between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius, due to which citizens have been advised to exercise caution.
