ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened an important meeting to review the current situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), according to the sources.
Sources familiar with the development said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Prime Minister of AJK Faisal Mumtaz Rathore are expected to meet the Prime Minister in Islamabad.
The high-level meeting is expected to discuss recent developments in Azad Kashmir, including the law and order concerns and the issue of refugee seats in the AJK Legislative Assembly.
According to sources, PPP may propose talks with the banned Joint Awami Action Committee and abolish, reduce, or transfer the refugee seats matter to the Kashmir Council.
