MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir police have exposed the heinous propaganda of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), stating that the JAAC members attacked the Law Enforcement Agencies in Rawalakot to disrupt the law and order situation in Azad Kashmir.
In the press release, the police stated that on the evening of June 07, miscreants of a banned organization, the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), attempted to disrupt the law and order situation in Rawalakot by obstructing the work of law enforcement agencies, especially security forces and relief agencies, the press release stated.
According to senior security sources, in the CMH attack by Banned Action Committee operatives, three officers, including a Sub-Inspector of Rawalakot Police and a Federal Constabulary officer, were martyred and were hit by 7.62 mm Kalashnikov bullets, while more than 20 officers of Rawalakot Police and Federal Constabulary were injured.
This resulted in the blocking of roads, disrupting public services, and damaging public and private property, which were reported by these elements.
Law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with the administration, launched an operation on the intervening night of June 07 and 08. During the operation, it was ensured that law and order were maintained in the city, protection of public life and property, and provision of essential services were ensured. The activities of hospitals, ambulance services, and other essential institutions continued as usual.
According to senior security sources, two civilians were seriously injured during the attack, while no other civilians were injured.
Normalancy Restored
According to top security sources, the propaganda being spread on social media by PTI and the banned Action Committee is a complete lie; there is complete peace in Rawalakot city at 8:30 pm.
Top security sources said that no bullets were fired in Rawalakot after 8:30 pm, there was no rioting or curfew imposed, there is complete peace in the city, PTI is propagandizing on the lines of November 26.
Thus, the heinous propaganda of Tehreek-e-Insaf social media and the conspiracy to turn the people of Rawalakot against the state on the lines of November 26, 2024, have been exposed once again.

The funeral prayers of the martyred sons of the country will soon be offered with utmost respect and full official honors. Legal action is underway against the armed and violent miscreants of the Banned Action Committee, and we once again reiterate our resolve that the leaders and workers who spread chaos will soon be brought to justice.
