RIYADH (Kashmir English): Visa applications for the coming Umrah season have been announced, with the issuance of visas for Umrah starting today, May 31.
As per the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the commencement of the new Umrah season signifies the preparation of the 1448 Hijri cycle after the Hajj season.
International pilgrims, they will start entering the kingdom from today until March 23, 2027.
Furthermore, the date for the issuance of visas for Umrah would be until March 9, 2027, which corresponds to the first day of Shawwal, 1448 Hijri. Pilgrims would be allowed to enter the kingdom to perform Umrah until March 23, 2027, whereas the departure date for the pilgrims would be April 7, 2027.
It was informed by the authorities that pilgrims will be able to secure permits to enter Makkah and perform Umrah using the government’s Nusuk app.
