SRINAGAR (Kashmir English): Civil society activists in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have said that Kashmiris are determined to carry on their struggle for freedom from Indian yoke, despite New Delhi’s brutal tactics.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the activists said killings, arrests, and torture cannot defeat the Kashmiris’ urge for freedom. “IIOJK people are ready to face Indian bullets but not surrender,” they stated in a joint statement issued in Srinagar.
Spirit of Kashmiri people
The activists asserted that the Modi regime cannot defeat the spirit of the Kashmiri people to win freedom. “Kashmiri people have no option but to fight Indian occupation,” they said, adding that Kashmiris will continue sacrificing their lives till freedom from Indian clutches.
“The ongoing people’s struggle against Indian tyranny will remain a golden page in Kashmir’s history,” they noted.
“The day is not far off when Kashmiris will see the dawn of freedom.” The activists termed India’s brutal military occupation of IIOJK a challenge to the world community and urged it to take notice of the worsening rights situation in the territory.
