MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A large-scale reshuffle of senior officers has been seen in Azad Kashmir Police.
The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir approved the appointments and transfers of senior officers in the administrative interest.
According to details, Raja Akmal Khan, Senior Superintendent of Police, District Bhimber, was transferred and appointed as AIGP Legal, Central Police Office.
Chaudhry Muhammad Amin, Senior Superintendent of Police (Reserve), was transferred and appointed as Senior Superintendent of Police, District Bhimber.
Riaz Haider Bukhari, Senior Superintendent of Police, District Muzaffarabad, was transferred and appointed as Senior Superintendent of Police (Reserve).
A notification has been issued for the transfer of Syed Abbas Ali Shah, Superintendent of Police, District Jhelum Valley, to Superintendent of Police, District Bagh.
Orders have been issued to transfer Israr-ul-Haq, Superintendent of Police, Neelum Jhelum Hydel Project, to Superintendent Principal, Police Training School, Muzaffarabad.
Ata-ur-Rehman, Superintendent of Police Telecommunication, was transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police, District Jhelum Valley.
Muhammad Riaz Mughal, Superintendent of Police, District Bagh, was transferred and appointed as Senior Superintendent of Police, District Muzaffarabad, against a vacant post.
Syed Raza Ahsan Gilani, Additional Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarabad, was transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (Telecommunication).
On the other hand, Muhammad Nadeem Arif, Additional Superintendent of Police, District Mirpur, has been transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police, District Neelum.
Aqa Mujtaba Salahuddin, current-charge Superintendent of Police, currently Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Establishment, was transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police, Mirpur.

Khawaja Abdul Qayyum, current-charge Superintendent of Police, currently at the Central Police Office, Muzaffarabad, was transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police Trank, against a vacant post.
Ansar Ali, current-charge Superintendent of Police (Security) with the President, was transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarabad.
Muhammad Bashir, Superintendent of Police, District Neelum, was transferred and appointed as AIGP Crime Branch, against a vacant post.
During the leave of Muhammad Yasin Qureshi, Additional Inspector General of Police (who is proceeding on ex-Pakistan leave), Dr. Khalid Mahmood Chauhan, Senior Most Deputy Inspector General of Police, Region Mirpur, was appointed as Additional Inspector General of Police on current charge basis against a vacant post.
Zaheer Ahmed Khan, Deputy Inspector General of Police (BS-20) Reserve Rangers, was transferred and attached to the Services and General Administration Department for further adjustment.
Sajjad Hussain, Deputy Inspector General of Police (BS-20) Traffic Telecommunication, was transferred and attached to the Services and General Administration Department for further adjustment.
