MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, while the heat is likely to continue in the plains.

However, there is a possibility of rain at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan with strong winds, gales, and thundershowers. The Meteorological Department says that the weather may remain partially unstable in these areas.

During the last 24 hours, the weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while rain was recorded in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Punjab, Kashmir, and northern Balochistan.

According to the data, the highest rainfall was recorded in the Astore area of ​​Gilgit Baltistan at 35 mm, while 08 mm of rain was recorded in Chilas and 02 mm in Gilgit. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pattan 21, Parachinar 16, Kalam 14, Dir 12, Mir Khani 11, Malam Jabba 10, Drosh 05, Kakul and Balakot 04, while in Dera Ismail Khan, 03 mm of rain was recorded at the airport and 02 mm in the city.

Punjab city Murree received 13 mm of rain, Bhakkar received 03 mm of rain, and Islamabad airport and city areas received 01 mm of rain. In Kashmir, the situation was that 12 mm of rain was recorded at Muzaffarabad airport, 09 mm of rain in the city, Garhi Dupatta 11 mm, Rawal Kot 06 mm of rain, and Kotli 01 mm of rain.

Zhob area of ​​Balochistan also received 06 mm of rain. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of a partial change in weather conditions in the coming days.
