ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Gold prices in Pakistan have made a strong recovery after a major one-day drop because they now approach the important Rs. 500,000 per tola threshold.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reports that 24-karat gold per tola now costs Rs.497,662 after its price increased by Rs. 3,000.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs.2,572, which brought the total to Rs.426,664. Global markets showed similar upward trends because gold prices increased by $30 per ounce to a total of $4,753.
Silver Rates in Pakistan
Silver rates in the domestic market also moved higher in line with gold, as the per tola price of silver gained Rs130, reaching Rs.8,014.
