LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Multan Sultans defeated the Quetta Gladiators by 6 wickets in the 13th match of the PSL 11 here on Sunday.
Batting first, Quetta Gladiators scored 166/7 (20 overs), which was chased down by the Multan Sultans in 17.3 overs (167/4).
Steve Smith (53 off 35) and Shan Masood (46* off 30) guided Multan Sultans to victory, with Mohammad Nawaz contributing with 3 wickets for 30 runs.

The victory placed Multan Sultans at the top of the table in the PSL 11.
Multan Sultans, by defeating Quetta Gladiators, secured their third victory in the event, moving to the top of the points table. Mohammad Nawaz was declared Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance.
Chasing the target of 167 runs, Steven Smith hit a six and two fours in the very first over. He reached his fifty off just 29 balls and established a 71-run opening partnership with Josh Philippe, which turned the tide of the match in their favour from the beginning.
Earlier, Quetta Gladiators had scored 166 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Saud Shakeel scored 56 and Bevan Jacobs scored 49 runs.
Saud Shakeel got a new life after an easy catch was dropped, which he fully utilized. He built an important 55-run partnership with Hasan Nawaz to stabilize the innings and was dismissed after scoring 56 runs off 41 balls.
Mohammad Nawaz took three wickets and Arafat Minhas took 2 wickets for Multan Sultans.
