ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A significant decline in gold prices has been seen across the country, which has created a stir in the buyers and jewelers’ market. The impact of the fall in prices in the global market has also been significantly reflected in the local market.

According to data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, there has been a major decline of Rs 7,100 in the price of gold per tola in Pakistan. After this significant decline, gold per tola has reached the level of Rs 486,962.

Similarly, a decline of Rs 6,087 has also been recorded in the price of 10 grams of gold, after which 10 grams of gold has now become Rs 417,491. On the other hand, there was a downward trend in gold prices in the global bullion market, where gold per ounce closed at $ 4,642 after falling by $ 71.

Economists say that these fluctuations in the global market are playing a key role in determining prices at the local level.
