KARACHI (Kashmir English): Sui Northern Gas Company has started unannounced load shedding even during cooking hours.
There are fears that the gas crisis in Lahore city will become serious because the load shedding period has been further extended due to gas shortage in the system.
Unannounced gas load shedding has also been started during cooking hours. The company has decided to supply gas three times a day during cooking hours.
A schedule has been made for gas supply from 5:30 to 9 in the morning and from 12 to 2 in the afternoon, while a schedule has been made for gas supply from 5:30 to 9 in the evening, but despite the schedule, gas is not being provided to domestic consumers during cooking hours.
The pressure has started coming down due to the increasing shortfall in the Sui Northern Gas Company’s system. The company is also facing a gas shortage due to the current war situation.
