BEIJING (Kashmir English): A young racing star from China has gained global attention for becoming one of the youngest professional car racers around the world.
Shao Ziyan obtained a racing licence at the age of just five, making him the youngest licensed racing driver in the country.
Ziyan’s craze for motorsports started at an unusually early age. He started playing racing simulator games at the age of just one year, which helped him develop an early interest in driving and racing.
Ziyan’s passion as racer
By the age of just over two and a half years, Ziyan began driving go-karts, and by four years old, he had already started competing in racing events.
His skills gained further acknowledgement in an international racing simulator competition, where he finished 27th among more than 10,000 competitors.
Shao Ziyan’s exceptional talent and achievements at such a young age has helped him gain wide media attention as China’s youngest professional racing driver.
