Gold prices hike after four-day consecutive decline in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Gold prices have witnessed a surge of Rs 6,100 in the domestic market on Saturday after declining for four consecutive days in Pakistan.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has reached Rs 539,862. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has hiked by Rs 5,230 to Rs 462,844.

The prices have also increased in the international bullion market, with gold per ounce increasing by $ 61 to $ 5,171.

The price of silver has also increased by Rs 17 to Rs 8,931 per tola, while the price of 10 grams of silver has climbed by Rs 14, settling at Rs 7,656.

It should be noted that yesterday, gold per tola had fallen by Rs3,400 to Rs533,762 in the local bullion market, marking the third consecutive day of downward trajectory.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold had decreased by Rs2,915, after which one tola of gold had become Rs457,614, while the price of silver per tola had increased by Rs104 to Rs8,914.
