ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan has arranged four Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) to ensure an uninterrupted fuel supply across the country, Samma News reported, citing sources.
Rebutting the rumors of fuel shortage in the country, the federal government officials have said that authorities have taken advanced measures to ensure a sufficient supply of petroleum products.
According to the reports, the government has arranged two Cnergyico crude oil shipments from the United States. The agreement has been finalised with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for one crude oil carrier each.
According to sources, measures were being taken to avoid possible fuel crises in Pakistan amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
