Pakistan Captain Salman Ali Agha’s Statement

After the defeat by India in the ICC T20 World Cup, Pakistan cricket team captain Salman Ali Agha said that the match was lost due to the fall of wickets in the power play; our batsmen could not play according to the situation.

Salman Ali Agha said that we went with 4 spinners, but they had an off day today, and we could not start well in batting. If 3-4 wickets fall in the power play, then it becomes difficult.

The Pakistani captain further said that it is important to deal with pressure in nerve-wracking matches against traditional rivals like India.

However, he stressed that the team now has to focus on the important group match against Namibia on Wednesday to qualify for the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup.

He said that emotions are always high in such matches, and we just have to handle this pressure. We have played enough such matches. Our next match is in a few days, so we have to look towards that. We have to win that and qualify, after which the new tournament will start.

Head Coach Mike Hesson’s  Statement

Pakistan’s white-ball team head coach Mike Hesson said that India has outclassed us in every aspect of the game.

In the press conference after the match, the white-ball team head coach Mike Hesson said that the ball slipped more in the second innings than in the first innings, Ishan Kishan played a good innings, and took the match from us.

White-ball team head coach Mike Hesson said that to go ahead in the tournament, we have to play better cricket.

He added that our early wickets fell early, and partnerships were not established, which cost us the match.
