MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In agroundbreaking move, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, has increased the monthly stipend of Jammu and Kashmir refugees.
During his address at the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that from nowonwards the Jammu and Kashmir refugees will get a stipend of 6000, which was earlier 3000.
The Jammu and Kashmir refugees who migrated from Occupied Kashmir to AJK were receiving a stipend of 3000 rupees monthly.
Construction of New Educational Institutions
Moreover, the Prime Minister has announced rupees one billion for the construction of Schools and colleges in Azad Kashmir. Pm Shebaz also added that 1700 laptops will be given to students of Azad Kashmir this year.
