MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The residents of Muzaffrabad are set to witness extreme cold during the day accompanied by gusty winds and light rain. The residents of Muzaffarabad are set to experience moderate to heavy rainfall today which will further intensify the cold wave in the region.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 09 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 01 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in Muzaffarabad ranges between 50 to 55% with strong wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 05 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 70% today.
According to the Met Office, the weather is likely to remain cold and dry in most parts of the country. However, light rain and light snowfall are expected in the mountains are likely at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
