Azad Kashmir sets monthly wage of non-technical employees at Rs40,000

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir continues to resolve public issues on a priority basis, as it has set the monthly wage for non-technical employees at Rs40,000 per month.

According to details, the government has increased the monthly wage for non-technical workers and issued a notification setting the minimum monthly wage for non-skilled workers at Rs40,000.

On the other hand, following government directives, a survey is underway by PTA for the provision of mobile internet service in Neelum Valley, after which mobile service will also be provided in remote areas.

Upon the directives of the government of Azad Kashmir, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has conducted a survey for the provision of mobile/internet service in remote areas of Neelum Valley, such as Kel, Sharda, and other regions.

Meanwhile, approval was also given to eliminate the disparity in pensions for retired employees of institutions under the Department of Local Government and Rural Development.

The elimination of disparity in pensions for retired employees has fulfilled a long-standing demand of employees of institutions under the local government.
