ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Modi government has once again appeared helpless in the face of the truth. The Indian government, afraid of factual and impartial journalism, has blocked the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Kashmir Digital in India, a formal notification of which has been received from the X administration.

The Modi government once again could not digest Kashmir Digital’s policy of truth, honesty, and impartial reporting, as a result of which this step was taken to suppress the voice of truth.

This is not the first time that India has targeted Kashmir Digital. Kashmir Digital’s YouTube channel has been blocked in India before, too, because this platform was exposing the ground realities and atrocities taking place in Kashmir. Despite this, Kashmir Digital has not stopped the journey of truth and will not stop it.

The notification received by the X administration states that they have received a formal blocking order under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act 2000 from the Indian Ministry of Information Technology, after which access to this account in India has been blocked under Indian law.

According to the X administration: KashmirDigital1. Due to legal restrictions, we are unable to provide additional information in this matter.

The fact is that thousands of Kashmiris in India themselves are victims of Indian judicial injustices. In such a situation, raising the voice of oppressed Kashmiris has become a crime of Kashmir Digital that the Modi government cannot tolerate.
