ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Following former national cricketer Imad Wasim’s divorce announcement, her wife Sania Ashfaq has made shocking revelations about the circumstances that allegedly led to the development.
Sania Ashfaq stated in a social media post that her home has been destroyed, her children have been deprived of their father, and her five-month-old child has not yet been held by his father.
According to Sania Ashfaq, there were difficulties during the marriage, but the relationship remained intact, as she compromised to maintain the relationship as a wife and mother.
“A third person wished to marry Imad Wasim”
She said that matters worsened when a third person entered their marital life, who wished to marry Imad Wasim.
“I endured mental distress and bitter behaviour for the sake of my children’s future and the dignity of my home.”
Sania said that those who are advising her to remain silent should know that justice will surely be served, and there is documentary evidence for all matters related to this issue.
Sania Ashfaq said that threats to prevent her from bringing documents to light will be dealt with legally. “I’m speaking the truth not for revenge but for me and my children’s rights and wants to become the voice of every woman who is silenced.”
It is worth noting that earlier, Pakistan cricket team’s famous former all-rounder Imad Wasim had admitted to long-standing differences with his wife and announced their divorce.
Imad Wasim said that after long deliberation and continuous differences that could not be resolved for the past few years, he has filed for divorce.
It is worth noting that former cricketer Imad Wasim and Sania Ashfaq were married in 2019 and now have three children.
