The 36-year-old all-rounder, who had married Sannia in a very high-profile wedding in August 2019, came out with a tough statement regarding their split.
The couple, who later had two children, a girl and a boy, had frequently been envied by others for maintaining their private family affairs despite the fame of Imad.
In his statement, he added that this was because of “repeated conflicts” which could not be solved over several years.
Although he refused to go into any personal information, the fact that the split occurred because of long-standing problems instead of a falling out was evident in his words.
