ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government has approved the summary of the Ministry of Interior against YouTuber Adil Raja as a proscribed individual.
According to sources, the ministry has prepared a detailed summary recommending the proscription in coordination with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
The summary was subsequently placed before the Ministry of Interior (MoI), which convened a relevant committee to review the case.
After deliberations, the recommendation was forwarded to the federal government and approved by the prime minister and the federal cabinet.
A formal notification will be issued by the Ministry of Interior, which will be published in the official gazette.
Once notified, the proscription will trigger multiple legal and administrative consequences.
These include a ban on travel, employment restrictions, a prohibition on political activities, non-renewal of passports, and a comprehensive financial embargo.
An arms embargo will also be enforced, along with confiscation of all movable and immovable property.
In addition, interaction with the proscribed individual by Pakistani citizens will be prohibited under the law. Officials said that any red warrants, if issued, would carry enhanced legal and enforcement implications following the proscription.
