SRINAGAR (Kashmir English): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was determined to go to any extent for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from India’s illegal occupation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that Quaid-e-Azam was a great visionary leader of the Muslims of South Asia who struggled for a separate homeland and finally achieved it in the form of Pakistan in 1947.
The APHC said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were part and parcel of Quaid-e-Azam’s movement for the creation of Pakistan.
Minhas said that Kashmiris have a firm belief that Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir and it will only be complete when Jammu and Kashmir becomes part of the country, as Quaid-e-Azam used to call Kashmir the jugular vein of Pakistan.
The APHC said that the people of Kashmir have great love and respect for Quaid-e-Azam. The statement said that Quaid-e-Azam also described Kashmir as economic backbone of Pakistan adding that its accession to Pakistan is the destiny of the Kashmiris, and that the Kashmiri people are rendering sacrifices for this just demand.
Kashmiri struggle for freedom
The APHC spokesman said that Quaid-e-Azam had rightly pointed out that Muslims needed a separate state to secure their future, while the illegal revocation of Articles 370 and 35A by the Modi-led Indian regime in August 2019, under the influence of the Hindutva agenda, once again proved the validity of this stance, as the Kashmiri struggle for freedom from Indian bondage is firmly based on the Two-Nation Theory.
