RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Sahibzada Farhan became the first Pakistani batsman to hit 100 sixes in a calendar year in T20 cricket.

He reached this feat while playing against Sri Lanka in a tri-series game on November 22, 2025, where he scored an unbeaten 80 runs.

He led his team to victory by playing a brilliant unbeaten innings of 80 runs off 45 balls while chasing the target.

During the match, Sahibzada Farhan hit 5 sixes and several fours, which entertained the fans and garnered their attention.

In a post-match press conference, Sahibzada Farhan said that he wants to play Test cricket for Pakistan.

In the last few matches, he had an issue with strike rotation, but coach Mike Hesson instructed him to practice taking singles and doubles after hitting a six.

He said that in the recent few matches, he was feeling relaxed, adding Fakhar Zaman told him not to relax and to consult him on any issue, from whom he continued to receive advice.

The opener said that it is a lot of fun playing with Babar Azam and he feels happy about his success.

Sahibzada Farhan finally said that he always knew that one day he would get an opportunity in the top order, and as soon as he got this opportunity, he took full advantage of it.
