ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Government has rejected false propaganda accusing the Islamabad police of harassing citizens of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In a Press Conference in Islamabad, Federal Ministers Tariq Fazal Chaudry and Talal Chaudry said that the video of an angry youth attacking a woman during a protest by the Public Action Committee is being described on social media as a Rawalpindi video, which is a complete lie.

Some posts are being seen on social media in which propaganda on the AJK citizens’ harassment is being done against the institution, Tariq Fazal said.

He said that it is our responsibility to expose those who are spreading propaganda.

False propaganda is being funded by the enemy, and a hateful agenda against Pakistan is being presented on social media.

The Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs said that the youth should not share any content on social media without verification.

Negative propaganda is being done regarding the mistreatment of the citizens of Azad Kashmir, which has nothing to do with reality.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that we respect the citizens of Azad Kashmir from the bottom of our hearts, and every child of the dear homeland believes in the words of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, ‘Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan’.

He said that the video of the attack on the Dhirkot vehicle was presented negatively, the impression was given in the video that the vehicle was attacked in Rawalpindi,  and the Islamabad Police is being defamed through fake videos.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said that old videos are being presented dramatically on social media.

The Bagh Hospital videos were said to be from a Rawalpindi hospital; fake news was being spread on social media during the negotiations in Azad Kashmir.

He further said that the relations between Pakistan and Kashmir will not be allowed to weaken under any circumstances, and no discrimination is made with any nationality in Islamabad.
